【商品説明】
COYA Fine Furniture 定番のダイニングチェアである『Ｓａｉｌ』。名前の由来は、帆船の帆に似た笠木（背もたれ部）の形状から。また、新しい椅子のある新たな生活が、追い風を受けてより良いものになりますように、との願いも込めて。

飛騨産のナラ材を使用し、心地よい背当たり、滑らかな触り心地、曲線美を意識したダイニングチェアとなります。

背当たりの良さをもたらす笠木の曲面は、高山の家具の特徴でもある”曲げ木”で成形されております。

塗装については、木その物の素材感を大切にしたいという思いから、植物由来のオイルで塗装をしております。研磨と塗装を丁寧に返す事で大変滑らかな触り心地となっております。

笠木から後脚にかけての繊細な曲線は、座り心地や背当たりを追求した事で生まれた曲線ではありますが、後ろ側から見られる事の多いダイニングチェアにとって、アピールポイントとなっております。

【Product Description】
The “Sail” dining chair is a signature piece from COYA Fine Furniture. The name “Sail” comes from the distinctive shape of the backrest, which resembles the sail of a sailing ship. It also embodies our hope that a new life with a new chair will be filled with smooth sailing and fresh beginnings.

Crafted from locally sourced oak wood from the Hida region, this dining chair offers a pleasing feel against the back, a smooth tactile finish, and a refined elegance in its curved form.

The gentle curve of the backrest, which enhances comfort, is shaped using the traditional bentwood technique—a hallmark of Takayama craftsmanship.

To preserve the natural character of the wood, we use a plant-derived oil finish. By carefully repeating the processes of sanding and oiling, we achieve an exceptionally smooth texture.

The graceful curve that flows from the backrest to the rear legs is not only a result of our pursuit of superior comfort and support, but also serves as a visual highlight—especially since dining chairs are often viewed from behind.
